Coachella Fashion

Story by Savannah Dres | Reporter

Coachella is the biggest spring music festival in Indio, California located in California’s warmest

desert known as Coachella, where some of the biggest music stars perform on Coachella's massive stage. The main reason people head down to this desert festival however, is because of the over the top outfits.

Coachella 2019 spiked inspiration for great senses of style for the spring season. People went

all out from the the crocheted dresses and denim looks to full on neon style. Neon cropped tops and fur coats were most definitely the biggest trend and now, people want these items for their own.

“The outfits were really unique and i got lots of inspiration from them. I would definitely wear

them if I was going to a festival or event like Coachella,” said freshman Kaleigh Stroud.

Beauty influencer and YouTuber James Charles was the star of the festival. Posing on the Coachella fairgrounds, James showed off one of his western inspired outfits tied all together with of course, a cowboy hat.

Not to mention the bohemian floral looks worn by other YouTube creators like cute cropped tops and sheer cover-ups.

“I thought the looks were really pretty. The loose 80 styled floral pieces were also cute, but some were way too much to be worn in public,” freshman Maddy Miller said.

The go to look this year was by far the cropped tops and bulky jackets, as well as biker shorts.

Some of the looks really stood out while some were not fitted right for a festival like Coachella. Most of the looks on the fairgrounds were something that everyone would love to wear, and are definitely considered the new spring 2019 fashion.
