Get a Job...Now!

Story by Hope Monte | News Editor

Now is the perfect time to start looking for a summer job and the McKinney ISD Career Expo is your gateway to employment.

Thursday, April 25, the McKinney ISD Career Expo will be held at McKinney North High School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A total of 29 vendors will attend looking to hire new employees.

Not only will the companies be looking to hire, but there are also opportunities for volunteering, certification program information, internships, and other summer activities.

“As a teenager when you get a job you make your own money – if you know you’re interested in a specific career field, a part time job or an internship over the summer will be a great advantage as you move forward in that career,” floral teacher Mrs. Hoover said.

Come dressed to impress with questions for companies and printed resumes as many places will interview on the spot.
